The Series 8000 OEM/VAR Barcode Readers incorporate infrared read head optics with on board decoding to output information in RS-232, RS-422/RS-485, Wiegand type emulation, magnetic stripe emulation or TTL formats. Ideal for reading employee/membership badges, documents, file folders and products, the Series 8000 also offers the added capability of controlling building access, machine access, parking control and many other applications.

BLP controls and monitors 2 doors. It also provides the option of up to 14 outputs for alarm monitoring and control functions. BLP also provides global and local antipassback. A one thousand event buffer ensures that transaction information is retained if communication is lost with the pc. A rechargeable lithium battery backup ensures no program data is lost.

Barlock™ 200 Series
Readers and Keypads Barlock™ Readers/Keypads
The Barlock™ reader family consists of swipe or insert Barcode readers which utilize a covert barcode. The readers may be combined with keypads for higher security applications. All readers offer a clear indication of card status through the use of green and red LEDs.

All Barlock readers are designed to interface effortlessly with Barlock processors. The readers can read proprietary facility barcode symbology. They can also adapt to standard barcode symbologies which allows them to adapt to existing systems, thereby saving money. Plus, Barlock allows for easy, in-house badge production. Barlock keypads may be used in simple code only applications or can provide additional security in card and PIN operation mode.

Single-Door Controller The netEDGE™ is a high performance, single-door controller featuring a Linux operating system. The Linux operating system is embedded in the netEDGE and greatly enhances the reliability and capability of the security management system. In addition, it provides several features to improve system performance in any size application.
Because the netEDGE utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE), separate power supplies and multi-door controllers are no longer needed. When utilizing PoE for the controllers, readers, lock and REX power, a reduction in installation costs of at least 25% can be realized. - Unlimited access levels

RAMM™
Remote Access Memory Module Extends eAXxess™ Software Capability The Remote Access Memory Module™ (RAMM) is an add-on for the AXxess™ NS system that enhances panel performance in direct connect, dial-up and LAN/WAN operation. Reliability is improved in installations using RAMM and a local data bus by offloading many of the operations done by the AXxess NS computer. In addition, it
provides several new features to improve system performance in larger systems. The Remote Access Memory Module can handle the following access control functions: - Full operation of dependencies, alarm zones, elevator floor control even if off-line
- Up to 410 sensors per RAMM
- Up to 100 alarm zones per RAMM
- Up to 1,000 access levels per RAMM
- Up to 2700 timed events
- Up to 256 schedules with 50 time intervals per RAMM
- Up to 200 input/output dependencies
- Up to 999 holidays with three types of holidays per RAMM
- Up to 5 elevators per RAMM

Reliability and Enhanced Capabilities
The Remote Access Memory Module adds many features to the BarLock™ system for use in stand-alone or high reliability situations. By offloading much of the configuration from the eAXxess computer, overall system response is significantly improved. If the computer goes down, the system continues to operate without degradation. Inter-panel operations, such as input/output dependencies and global anti-passback continue to function. Improved Throughput
All communication with the Remote Access Memory Module and the PC, whether directly connected or dial-up is at 38,400 baud with a large data block size. This results in transactions being sent to the PC significantly faster than directly connected panels, leaving more time for the computer to perform other tasks or communicate with other units. Ethernet Interface Option
An Optional Ethernet interface provides connection to Barlock panels utilizing a local or wide area network. The interface uses standard 10-baseT connection to the network with field programmable IP address. The interface includes password protection, proprietary protocol and optional 128 bit data encryption for network security. Elevator Control
The Remote Access Memory Module supports up to five elevators with up to 1,000 access level combinations. Operation is significantly faster than when relying on the computer to make the floor decisions.

Digital Video Badging System An Affordable System VideoKey™ Photo Identification [ID] Badging System is an affordable way to create low-cost, full color, tamper-resistant, photo identification badges in minutes. The system consists of a color camera, on-demand full color PVC card printer, video capture system, proprietary card image software and user supplied PC. VideoKey creates a high quality photo image badge with considerably more ease than conventional heat laminated badging systems.

Single-Step Operation, User-Defined Fields
VideoKey prints a full color badge including any combination of photographic images, graphics, barcodes, text, and user-defined fields directly onto PVC cards in a single pass through the printer. An optional signature panel and magnetic stripe or proximity encoding module may also be incorporated. The print process can also print a clear overlay to extend the life of the printed image. VideoKey is networkable, which allows the use of multiple badging stations that
interface with one database. Software
VideoKey is a Windows® based proprietary software package. Operation of the software is simple and requires minimal user training with contextual on-screen help to guide the operator through the software. ViewPoint™
Integrated System The Internet and digital technology provide users with many options to expand and use their security management systems to the fullest. ViewPoint™ uses these technologies to provide end-users the highest level of security management.

Designed to use Windows® multiple screen capabilities, one screen shows the Security Management System (SMS) desktop and the second screen displays the live video views. ViewPoint allows users to view floor plans, alarm list or transaction logs. At the same time, on the second monitor, users are viewing any of the preconfigured camera views. The video is viewed simultaneously from different manufacturer’s DVRs, NVRs, IP Cameras. A view may also include web resources for viewing public traffic cameras, news and weather sites. The MAXxess security management system allows users to configure the system to identify events that will trigger a camera view and/or the recording of video. ViewPoint recognizes and logs events triggered by the DVR such as camera motion detection or other video analytics and logs those events into the database of the security management system. These events can additionally trigger dependencies such as sound alerts or alarms as well as visual notification to the operator. The images can be manually selected or automatically displayed based on any event occurring within the SMS. Recorded video may be searched and displayed by selecting an event with associated video either from the transaction window or from a report. Additionally the system supports snapshots and video clips. WebView is a web browser feature that is designed to bring Internet resources into a camera view. It supports any web resource to bring in additional
