CIEFFE SPECTIVA®
DVMS SPECTIVA is CIEFFE's most advanced digital audio/video recording and management system (DVMS) with 32 universal video inputs (analogue and IP). This powerful DVMS is the result of CIEFFE's ongoing research for developing the highest quality surveillance technologies.

The new Real Time 2.06 version features a multi-encoder technology that can use multiple compression modes in real time for each channel with H264 and MPEG4 Main Profile algorithms. SPECTIVA is the first DVMS in the world to offer broadcast quality video up to 20 times better than other systems that use Wavelet, JPEG, differential and MPEG2 algorithms. It can also generate multiple H264 and MPEG4 Main Profile streams for each camera, allowing for flexible and optimized management of video streams to the connected clients: each stream can be sent to several platforms for different purposes (for instance, 2Mbit in D1 for real time recording, 256 Kbit CIF for ADSL connection, 10 Kbit QCIF for transmission to GPRS networks).

LINEARIS™ LC
DVMS The LINEARIS LC is the series' desktop version.
|
This compact version has an internal hard disk with a maximum capacity of 400 GB plus all the main features of the RM. Sixteen unsynchronised cameras with eight audio inputs can be connected to each LINEARIS LC unit. This unit can be used by itself or as a server on any TCP/IP network without loss of performance. The LINEARIS LC is a Digital Video Management System with an excellent cost/performance ratio and superior video quality thanks to CIEFFE's compression technology based on parallel DSPs. It is an ideal solution for banks, shopping centres, schools, car parks and any other property prone to robbery and vandalism.

LINEARIS™ LE
DVMS The LINEARIS LE is the series’ compact version, capable of handling six to twelve unsynchronised cameras with bi-directional audio.

All the main features of the RM and LC versions are also embedded in this model. The technical specifications, exceptional networking performance and the completely integrated hardware and software platform combine to offer total reliability. The superior video quality and comprehensive performance thanks to the new generation DSPs mean that the LINEARIS LE is the ideal solution for small and medium trading operations, private properties and any other type of location requiring networked video-surveillance monitored via TCP/IP. LINEARIS LE has an internal storage capacity of 120 GB, works on TCP/IP networks and can be comprehensively managed by all CIEFFE software clients.

The LINEARIS MINI uses very durable 1.8" disks with a storage capacity range between 20 and 60 GB. It works on TCP/IP networks and can be completely managed by all the CIEFFE software clients.

NETTUNO™ SENSES
Network Codecs NETTUNO SENSES is the most advanced Network Codec of the NETTUNO series.

This state-of-the-art surveillance technology, based on the new 720 Mhz DSP, capable of managing 4 video streams at the same time, can now manage motion tracking and behaviour analysis thanks to CIEFFE algorithm Deepath2.
Deepath2 can be seen as a group of independently working agents, collaborating and exchanging results concerning the video streams. The agent's results are inserted in a multidimensional event database. Events are then correlated by time, space, and other parameters. Temporal-spatial correlations among events can result in "smarter" alarms.
Designed to be completely solid state (no fans or moving parts), NETTUNO is extremely compact in size (90W x 120D x 35H mm). Its power consumption (<5 w) is minimum, making it the perfect choice for any environment.
NETTUNO SENSES can connect a single composite video camera (and single audio channel) to the network and transmit D1 resolution (D1 @ 720x576 pixels / 720 x 480 pixels) video and stereo audio in real time using MPEG4 Main Profile algorithm. Moreover it can be seamlessly integrated as a network camera in any SPECTIVA® (v 2.00 or higher). Output can be viewed live, analyzed, and recorded as if it were produced by a conventional camera connected to Spectiva via coax. NETTUNO can use SD memory to provide video data buffering and eliminate video recording loss due to network disruption or failure.

HIGH DEFINITION AND PTZ 360° FAST MOVEMENT MegaDome’s main innovation lies in the fact that it makes possible to use 1600*1200 resolution combined with PTZ movement: autofocus and backlight management of images coming from a moving camera, mechanical and electrical issues, all those harsh difficulties to face when merging Megapixel resolution video with fast and accurate PTZ movement, have been settled by CIEFFE’s R&D Department. HIGH DEFINITION AND MPEG4 COMPRESSION NETTUNO MegaDome is also the first Megapixel PTZ dome to apply MPEG4 video compression algorithm on high resolution video (it has a 1600*1200 pixels resolution – 2 Megapixels). The outcome is that, though the dome is still delivering high quality video at a very fluid frame rate (15 fps at maximum quality and resolution), MPEG4 compression allows terrific savings in bandwidth and storage requirements: the compression of high resolution video is 10 to 20 times more effective (depending on the monitored scene) than standard Megapixel compression technologies on the market, all JPEG based.
HIGH DEFINITION AND REAL-WORLD IP INSTALLATIONS With this Megapixel PTZ dome you can take advantage of both high resolution video (image quality and detail, vital help in post event reconstruction thanks to digital zoom) enhanced by 16x optical zoom and fast and accurate PTZ movement at the same time.
MPEG4 compression on high resolution video allows to implement NETTUNO MegaDome into real world IP installations, when there usually are many cameras connected to storage servers or to monitors over IP. In a similar situation, the overall bandwidth and storage required by JPEG compression makes the desired installation not feasible or extremely expensive.
Customers needing to perform high quality video surveillance may not always have the luxury of a Multi Gigabit connection to the network so MPEG4 Main Profile algorithm provides huge savings. The NETTUNO MegaDome allows to build high-res video surveillance IP systems in a very cost-effective way. Thanks to those systems, the video security environment will provide performance and video surveillance accuracy unmatched up to this moment.

CIEFFE NETTUNO™ megaPX
VISUALIZATION The new CIEFFE NETTUNO MegaPX network camera is equipped with a high-resolution (2 Mpixels) CMOS sensor by Micron. NETTUNO MegaPX can send to the network high resolution images –1600 x 1200 or 2 Mpixels – at 15 fps, or real time images (25 fps) with a 1280 x 960 resolution (1,3 Mpixel).

The CMOS sensor allows to automatically adjust white balancing and colour saturation level, thus guaranteeing excellent images in standard settings as well as in scenes with high dynamic range and under any lighting condition. The camera independently controls and manages the autoiris of the fitted lenses according to the light condition of the scene selected.
COMPRESSION MPEG4 compression allows to optimize data in a much more efficient way than traditional compression methods, thus eliminating problems related to the available bandwidth and reducing traffic and storage costs. Therefore, it is possible to achieve an extremely high resolution with an extremely small bandwidth usage. MPEG4 compression is managed by a dedicated DSP, with proprietary firmware, that can be updated over the network if new algorithms are implemented.
EASE OF USE NETTUNO MegaPX can be powered directly through the Ethernet port (Power Over Ethernet compliant). An SDCard slot allows to add memory for local storage of single frames or short videos. Every camera has an integrated web server, enabling live view of images through any TCP/IP connection via Internet Explorer, without the need for additional software. NETTUNO MegaPX is suitable for stand-alone use or in combination with DVMS of the SPECTIVA and LINEARIS series. The IP transmission and the use of the best video-compression algorithms allow to achieve flexible and scalable solutions for any type of CCTV installation.

LINEARIS™ RM
DVMS The LINEARIS RM is built in a 4U 19” rack mount case designed for industrial installations.

The new hardware and software architecture of the LINEARIS series, featuring new generation DSPs, offers maximum video quality combined with a significant reduction in disk and bandwidth usage. The ample internal storage in a RAID 5 configuration combined with the consistent cooling system makes for a considerable capacity (as much as 1600 GB) and excellent storage reliability, for months of video and audio. Sixteen unsynchronised cameras with bi-directional audio can be connected to each LINEARIS RM unit.
