Iteris Vantage™ Express
Video Based Data Measurement and Collection Vantage express, a low cost data collection software solution for highway management systems, expands Iteris' existing and successful video detection system capabilities into data measurement and collection applications. Various traffic / congestion parameters can be collected and transmitted t a Traffic Management Center for further processing. In addition to supporting traffic analysis, these parameters can be used to detect incidents and calculate travel times.

Iteris's Vantage Plus TM is an intelligent detector which provides TS-1 or TS-2 detection outputs to an intersection traffic controller for actuated operation. It is programmed using menus that appear as a graphic overlay on the video image. Iteris Vantage™ VersiCam
Roadway Introducing a new concept in Vantage video detection, VersiCam is an integrated machine vision processor and camera solution. Designed for small or semi-actuated intersections, VersiCam offers the same same high performance Vantage video detection in a low-cost package.

VersiCamis a versatile, high resolution video traffic camera specially optimized for machine vision processor technology. The camera offers remote zoom and focus functions to simplify setup and includes a high sensitivity color imager (CCD) to ensure accurate vehicle detection in all lighting conditions. Using industry-standard network communications “3-pair” cabling, significant savings can be realized by eliminating expensive coaxial and power cable runs. The VersiCam solution includes the Interface Communication Controller (ICC) that resides in the roadside cabinet. The ICC installs into a standard 170 input file or NEMA TS-1/ TS-2 detector racks and has a built-in power supply to power the camera. All user interface functions are performed through the ICC such as virtual zone placement, detector output assignment and video monitoring. VersiCam compliments the existing Vantage range of Edge2 video detection products by providing entry-level video detection and output presence detection at a cost efficient price. Your investment is future-proofed by VersiCam’s flexible design that can support simple firmware upgrades. The Iteris VersiCam is a complete video vehicle detection solution that is a cost

Iteris Vantage™ Access
Module Vantage Access is one of the latest additions to the exciting new Iteris Vantage product line. This innovative and versatile unit serves as a central point of reference for the Vantage Edge 2 processors, I/O Modules and extension modules. Vantage Plus users have long enjoyed the modular integration of the Plus units all-in-one chassis design.

Vantage Access now successfully brings that same integration and convenience to the Vantage Edge 2 product line. Vantage Access serves as an intelligent central hub for Vantage Edge 2 processors and accessories. This means that the user simply plugs the mouse, monitor, and up to four expansion modules into the Vantage Access unit, and can then switch to any of the peripheral processors without the need of switching any monitor, communication, or pointing device connections. Vantage Access is designed to accept any USB compatible mouse or trackball type pointing device. Vantage Access is also equipped with a built in industrial hardened 56K modem, making it the perfect companion for integration with Vantage Remote Access Software (VRAS). Features, functionality, and the same "ease-of-use" legacy that you have come to expect from your Vantage products makes Vantage Access a welcome addition to your Vantage Edge 2 lineup.

Iteris Vantage™ V2 Rack
Rack The Vantage V2 rack provides a space-saving solution where a single or dual camera input video detection system is deployed. The V2 rack uses Vantage Edge2 processors and optionally the Edge2 I/O module thus providing application flexibility at minimal cost. The V2 rack also has built-in provisions for DC or solar powered sites. Dedicated terminal blocks are provided for quick and easy power terminations.

An example application is where a dual input Edge2 processor is deployed for a highway data
collection site. The dual input Edge2 video detection processor enables 2 cameras, one in each
direction of traffic, to be used to process highway management data (e.g. count, speed,
occupancy, headway and gap). Collected and processed data can be extracted through the onboard EIA-232 serial port. The 2-slot version of the V2 rack provides a compact solution for this application. If external inputs and outputs are required, the 3-slot rack is available for the use of standard Edge2 extension modules or the Edge2 I/O module. The compact V2 rack provides expanded options for video detection applications where full-size detector racks are impractical. If shelf-space and cabinet space is at a premium, then the V2 rack is your solution.

Iteris Vantage™ One
Module The Iteris Vantage One™ is a video-based vehicle detector that can be deployed costeffectively, one camera at a time. This modular, single camera processor enables video detection to be affordable in a broader range of applications than traditional four-camera systems. For example, Vantage One makes video detection affordable for single intersection approaches on a retrofit basis, enabling the user to replace loops one approach at a
time as they fail. Users pay for just the image processing hardware needed, rather than using more costly processors designed to handle four cameras to process inputs from a single camera.

The Vantage One processor drops easily into existing and planned traffic control cabinets, including NEMA and Type 170. It offers engineers, technicians and contractors a setup program that is easy to learn and use, and does not require a portable computer for installation. Surveillance-quality video images can be sent to remote viewing locations over existing communication paths, enabling users to view live traffic operations if an incident is suspected. Vantage One is provided and supported by Iteris, a leading supplier of video recording, transmission, switching and processing equipment since 1971. Iteris Vantage™ Edge2
Module The new Vantage Edge2 I/O Module expands the flexibility of the Edge2 video detection system. With 24 outputs and 8 inputs, the I/O module provides maximum flexibility where additional input and outputs are required for complex applications. The I/O module can drive external logic systems or use inputs from other external systems to expand the capability of Edge2 video detection processor applications. Logic inputs can now be used even in Caltrans 170/2070 applications. Logic inputs similar to "Delay/Extension Enable" in NEMA cabinets can now be used for those detector racks that do not have the "Delay/Extension Enable" signal.

The module is capable of being installed in either 12 VDC or 24 VDC input files/detector racks.
The system is compatible with NEMA TS-1, TS2, and Caltrans 170/2070 systems. Both inputs
and outputs are isolated for maximum system protection. Status indicators are provided for ease of system monitoring. I/O modules can be inter-mixed with existing 2-channel and 4-channel Edge2 extension modules or with other Edge2 I/O modules. The use of Edge2 I/O modules in conjunction with Edge2 video detection processors is a
powerful combination to solve complex applications where extra inputs and outputs are
required.
