Compact X-ray units screen smaller items, including mail and briefcases; while larger, open-tunnel systems inspect oversized baggage and small cargo.
AS&E's systems for Cargo and Vehicles (CargoSearchTM) - available in mobile, relocatable, and fixed-site configurations - can be customized to meet specific inspection requirements and integrated into existing security operations. CargoSearch systems are ideal for inspecting cars, vans and trucks, as well as palletized cargo, and air and sea cargo containers. X-rays, a traditional detection technology, is added

contraband. Dual-energy transmission provides excellent
image resolution as well as additional image analysis
capabilities and some degree of material discrimination.
Shaped Energyâ„¢ technology, our high-energy X-ray solution,
provides even more penetration for the inspection of
dense sea containers and other objects, without employing
a radioactive source -- preserving safety and functionality.
Finally, Radioactive Threat Detection technology helps
