Bona are currently in the completion stages for the
ITS project on the Ben Schoeman in Johannesburg. Disciplines
covered during this project included project management,
managing all nominated sub-contractors on behalf of
SANRAL, CCTV camera and pole installation, design, supply
and installation of a single mode high speed fibre optic
backbone and industrial Ethernet equipment, Variable
Message Signs, Sensys wireless vehicle detection systems,
the National Management Centre and the complete electrical
infrastructure.

When activities such as roadway/bridge work, utilities
work or material testing and surveying is performed,
the primary responsibilities are to ensure that traffic
accommodation is handled in a consistent, safe and effective
manner thereby protecting both workmen and motorists.
Bona also offers a range of portable variable message
signs to keep travelers informed of the changing road
conditions and of work being performed.
In addition, Bona offers a fast fiber optic communication
backbone for voice, data and video, and has the ability
to integrate a vast range of equipment onto a single
network. Bona is fully equipped with fiber optic splicing
machines and offers integration design, supply, installation
and testing together with the OTDR certification.
Bona provides fully trained installation and servicing
teams countrywide and has resources such as a fleet
of 1 Ton Trucks, 3 Ton Trucks, Articulated Boom Lifts,
and a complete stock of traffic accommodation signage.
